Home Matters of Comfort

Turkey - 14 days

Map of Turkey tripYour journey begins in Istanbul, an exotic combination of East and West. Visit the Blue Mosque and the Palace of Sultans; shop in the Grand Bazaar, and cruise along the Bosphorus. Travel to ancient Cappadocia where volcanic formations resemble giant chimneys; some have been adapted into homes and even churches. There are more classical ruins in Turkey than Greece; go to Antalya and visit ancient Lycian cities that date back to the 5th century BC and to the ruins of one of the most important cities of the Roman Empire at Ephesus.

If you have more time to continue your travels, cruise the Turquoise Coast of Turkey on board the
M/Y Halas. Spend your days sailing among the islands off the southern coast swimming and sunning; in the evenings, dine on freshly caught seafood and watch gilded sunsets from the comfort of your deck chair.
